Artworks selected for phæno embrace a variety of technologies to create works that are not only engaging but often instructive as well. The artworks provide an important counterpoint to the rest of the exhibition, as well as unexpected insight into familiar phenomena. The artworks explore fundamental, observable phenomena such as light, waves, motion, electromagnetism, periodicity and changes of state.
